C.J. Spiller's family is mourning after his step-grandfather, Hubert Allen, Jr., killed two people before killing himself in a murder-suicide.
Allen, Jr. went to a trucking company owner's ranch—where he was once employed—and shot one man in the vicinity, shot and killed the owner, killed a farmhand, and seriously injured another person. He returned to his home where he killed himself.
The two survivors of the shooting spree were admitted into a hospital in Gainesville, FL. Police are still investigating possible motives behind the Allen, Jr.'s actions.
