NBA fans usually enjoy some Thursday night basketball action on TNT. The first game was expected to be quite the barnburner with a match-up between two of the top three teams in the league right now: the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs. Also, Charles Barkley is going to handle the color commentary duties, so you can imagine how many fans were salivating for a game like this.

Unfortunately, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich had other plans. The Spurs have won the first five games of their six-game road trip, so Popovich decided to give starters Danny Green, Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and sixth man Manu Ginobili the night off in the final game of their road trip. The Spurs were already without key rotation players Stephen Jackson and Kawhi Leonard due to injury.

Popovich just trolled every NBA fan that was ready to watch this game with excitement. Now we are relegated to hoping Barkley comes through in the clutch with some comedy, but not even Sir Charles could save this unwatchable affair.
