Usain Bolt has already conquered the world of track and field. Twice, actually. Now, he wants to try his hand feet at a new sport: soccer. And, according to some comments he made to The Sun yesterday, he wants to do it by trying out for Manchester United.

"People think I am joking," he said, "but if [Man U manager] Alex Ferguson called me up and said, 'OK, let's do this, come and have a trial,' it would be impossible for me to say no. I would not take up the challenge if I didn't think I was good enough. I am a very accomplished player and know I could make a difference."

After reading Bolt's comments, Man U player Rio Ferdinand offered to help him get a tryout, too, and even exchanged tweets with the fastest man on the planet about it.

@usainbolt if you want that trial at Man Utd shout me, I'll speak to the boss!! Well done in 100m, waiting for you to smash the 200m now!

Sooo, any chance Bolt actually goes through with this idea? We'd say…probably not. But, if he does, let's hope it turns out better than that soccer "tryout" Chad Johnson had last year.
