Yesterday Jeremy Lin broke bread with Anthony Federico, the former ESPN headline writer that set the Internets ablaze with this mishap. According to Federico, a family member of Lin's reached out to him through e-mail to set up a lunch date. After a few tries, they finally were able to get up and talk about the events that transpired in the wee hours of February 19 when the offensive line appeared on ESPN's mobile site for 35 minutes.

Federico was very thankful saying, "The fact that he took the time to meet with me in his insanely busy schedule. He's just a wonderful, humble person. He didn't have to do that, especially after everything had kind of died down for the most part." When it went down, Lin accepted his apology and said, "You have to learn to forgive." The two had lunch at a Manhattan restaurant and talked for about an hour about Christianity and the aftermath of the situation. "We didn't talk about the headline for more than three minutes," Federico said.

Jeremy Lin practices what he preaches and with Tim Tebow in town, heathens will be headed for the hills.
