FATHER: Stan Love, Oregon (1968-1971)
SON: Kevin Love, UCLA (2007-2008)

COMPLEX SAYS: After making his mark in the NCAA, Stan Love did not create many waves in the NBA. So after four years in the league, Stan retired from basketball to work as a security guard for his brother's group, The Beach Boys. (The Beach Boys needed security?) Kevin wasn't always into playing ball, but the father forced the game down his son's throat. Turned out to be a good move. After only one year in college, the younger Love was named the Pac-10 player of the year and led the much-storied UCLA Bruins to a Final Four appearance in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. Love recently made waves by posting a 30-30 game for the Timberwolves. Now all he needs is to grow his dad's mustache.
