It's some exciting times for adidas right now. Last week, the Three Stripes Brand pilfered three key designers from the Nike design team and then announced plans for a Brooklyn-based creative design studio slated to open in 2015. So what did adidas do for an encore? They officially unveiled John Wall's first signature shoe with the company today, the J Wall 1.
Set to be dropped in two initial colorways, the J Wall 1 is inspired by the All-Star point guard's quick on-court play and fashion forward off-court style. Wall's uncanny ability to cross up defenders is recognized in the shoe's logo, which features a "J" crossing over into a "W." With more colorways on the way, the J Wall 1 is just the first piece of an entire collection scheduled to be dropped throughout the season.
