Last Saturday's Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" release was arguably the biggest drop so far this year. Making the sneakers even more enticing was the fact that they were the first remastered O.G. colorway of the Jordan 1.

But it looks like not every pair got the "remastered" treatment. Instagram user @therealchickenwop shared a Snapchat screenshot of a pair with its tongue half-way separated from the toebox. Considering the recent Jordan 1 High O.G. price hike from $140 to $160, this is pretty disconcerting to see.

However, the Instagram caption says it all: "You still want that $500?"

With eBay prices hovering around half a stack, disconcerting is an understatement. After seeing this, it might be best to examine these sneakers in person if you're still looking for the "Chicagos."
