In the sneaker game today, Nike Flyknits are amongst the most popular silhouettes amongst fans and OG colorways of the Flyknit Racer are some of the most sought after models.

One of those colorways, the "Black/White" iteration that originally dropped in 2013, fetches more than double it's retail price based on Flight Club and eBay listings. While the asking prices seem fairly tame considering the exorbitant amount of money some folks are doling out for kicks, it's still out of reach for many sneakerheads.

So what's the next best thing? Make your own pair. Similar to what we saw when folks removed the cages from the adidas Ultra Boost, one fan took the time to remove the Flywire from the Nike's latest Flyknit Racer to make it even "better."

The process involves scissors, tweezers, and a bit of patience. And as you'll see in the video below, the process doesn't seem all that difficult. So if you've always wanted a pair of the OG "Black/Whites," but didn't want to pay resale, this video is for you.
