This week promises more high quality releases to spend your money on from brands like Nike, Converse, Jordan Brand, and Adidas.
Drops start early this week with the final Acronym x Nike Air VaporMax Moc 2 releasing along with a new "Desert Sand" colorway of the Air Jordan XIV on Tuesday morning.
The releases pick back up on Thursday with the return of the "Metallic Gold" Nike Air Max 97, two retro Converse models from Nike's "Art of a Champion" pack celebrating the NBA Playoffs, and the debut of Adidas' new Solarboost silhouette. On Friday, European retailer size? delivers the exclusive "Manchester Showers" Adidas I-5923 inspired by England's rainy weather.
Saturday is packed with the rest of this week's biggest drops. Acronym x Nike Air VaporMax Moc 2

What You Need to Know: The final pair from Errolson Hugh's trio of Nike VaporMax Moc 2s releases early this week. This colorway sports the same all-over print pattern across the laceless upper, but switches up the color palette to include black and grey tones. A pop of color comes from the orange overlays on the heel. Each piece of the shoe is designed to represent faded cacti, scorching heat and arid air.
Air Jordan XIV 'Desert Sand'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is outfitting the last Chicago Bulls era Air Jordan model with a brand new colorway. The "Desert Sand" Air Jordan XIV is covered in a sand suede across the upper. Black hits are used on the tongue, branding, and midsole. White and Infrared 23 detailing can also be seen on the heel and outsole.
Nike Air Max 'Metallic Gold' Pack

What You Need to Know: Nike is bringing back two popular releases from 2017 to help celebrate the release of the brand new "Metallic Gold" VaporMax 97. Releasing alongside the model with an Air Max 97 upper and VaporMax midsole is the original "Metallic Gold" Air Max 97, as well as a similarly-colored rendition of the Air Max Plus.

Converse Star Player Ox 'Intangibles'

What You Need to Know: Another pair from Nike's "Art of a Champion" pack, the "Intangibles" Converse Star Player Ox is inspired by Wes Unseld's performance in the 1978 NBA Finals. Unseld would lead the Washington Bullets to the franchise's first championship. He hit two key free throws late in Game 7 to seal the victory and earned Finals MVP honors as well. The pair itself sports a cream canvas upper, white and blue branding hits, Converse's signature white rubber toe, and gold detailing.
Converse Fastbreak Hi 'No Easy Buckets'

What You Need to Know: Also dropping this week from Nike's "Art of Champion" pack is the "No Easy Buckets" Converse Fastbreak Hi inspired by Kevin McHale's play in the 1984 Finals between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. McHale's hard foul on a fast break caused a brawl between the two teams and is a statement play in the storied rivalry between both franchises. To celebrate that moment, this retro basketball model is covered in Celtics green with white accents and gold detailing.
Adidas Solarboost

What You Need to Know: Adidas' latest addition to the Boost family is its new performance runner, the Solarboost. The silhouette uses Tailored Fiber Placement technology inspired by NASA engineering that aims to provide the most precise upper possible. Overall, the Solarboost largely resembles the popular Ultra Boost with a similar shape, heel cup, and Boost midsole. It will debut in men's and women's color schemes.
Adidas I-5923 'Manchester Showers'

What You Need to Know: European retailer size? is releasing yet another exclusive pair of Adidas. This time the shop is using the I-5923 as the canvas. Dubbed the "Manchester Showers" colorway, this pair is inspired by the rainy days in the English city. A grey mesh upper sports black suede overlays on the toe and heel, grey suede eyelets, welded Three Stripes branding, and yellow accents to symbolize lightning. A grey Boost midsole adds extra comfort to the lifestyle model as well.
Atmos x Nike 'We Love Nike' Pack

What You Need to Know: With the "Jade" Air Max 95 having already released exclusively at Atmos' Tokyo and New York locations, the final three pairs of the retailer's "We Love Nike" collaboration are set to drop this weekend. An Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 95 inspired by classic OG colorways are each given a special added detail along the upper—a graphic paying homage to classic Nike boxes.

Skepta x Nike Air Max 97/BW

What You Need to Know: The second collaboration between Grime rapper Skepta and Nike drops in limited numbers this Saturday. A follow-up to his well received Air Max 97 collaboration from 2017, this new pair fuses the upper of the Air Max BW with the midsole of the Air Max 97. The pair's white upper and mismatched blue and red details are a nod to the city of Paris.
Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Fo', Fi', Fo''

What You Need to Know: The final pair from Nike's "Art of a Champion" pack dropping this week is the "Fo', Fi', Fo'" Air Force 1 Low inspired by Moses Malone. The nickname comes from the Hall of Famer's guarantee ahead of the 1983 NBA Playoffs that his team, the Philadelphia 76ers, would win the championship by sweeping each series, "fo', fo', fo'." While the Sixers would capture the 1983 title, they would actually do so by winning each series, "fo', fi', fo'." This simple Air Force 1 Low colorway sports a white leather upper, red detailing, and special gold hits to celebrate one of the "original six" NBA players who wore AF1s on the court.
Air Jordan XXXII Low 'Gordon St.'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is dropping two pairs of the Air Jordan I Rebel inspired by two popular colorways of the OG Air Jordan I. Donning the recognizable "Top 3" and "Chicago" color schemes, the Rebel reinteprets MJ's first signature shoe with a new asymmetrical lacing system, medial zipper, and repositioned Nike Air and Wings logo branding.

Air Jordan I 'Homage to Home'

What You Need to Know: Originally releasing exclusively in Chicago a few weeks prior, the "Homage to Home" Air Jordan I celebrating two of the silhouette's most popular colorways receives a wider release this weekend. The interesting color scheme splits the silhouette down the middle giving each shoe a lateral side from the "Bred" and a medial side from the "Chicago" pairs, respectively. Unlike the original drop, these pairs will not be individually numbered.
