The partnership between adidas Originals and Raf Simons takes an epic turn.
While the two have already collaborated on the Stan Smith model in the past, this latest batch of tennis sneakers, from adidas Originals' SS15 collection, gives the Belgian fashion designer a rare honor.
Raf Simons himself gets "Stan'd" on the vintage sneaker's leather tongue, which seldom happens on collaborations when it comes to the Stan Smith silhouette. Simons' face is imprinted in that signature fairway green color on the left sneaker, while the tennis legend is immortalized on the right.
Rounding out the collaboration is a perforated letter "R" on the medial and lateral sides to replace adidas' row of three stripes.
