The Buckeyes of Ohio State are set to take on the Iowa State Cyclones in the last day of the Round of 32 this after noon at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio. Participating in today's game is senior forward Evan Ravenel. Ravenel, like many of us, loves sneakers, and we caught up with him recently to talk about some of his favorites. What sneaker, if there is one specifically, got you into sneakers?
I wouldn't call myself a sneaker addict but the shoe that got me paying attention to release dates and stuff would have to be the Foamposites.
What is your favorite sneaker to hoop in?
My Favorite shoe to hoop in has to be the Lebron X I was wearing in the beginning of the season. I was highly upset when the air bubble burst and I had to change shoes.
What is the one shoe, with money being no object, that you would love to have?
If money wasn't an object I would have to have a pair of Foamposites. I have never had a pair but I love the way they look, they catch the eye but they are expensive. Lol.

Ravenel says: "Now I have never own a pair myself but some of my teammates do and ever since I seen them I fell in love with the look and style of this shoe. It's a little different from my usual taste of a simple shoe but I love that about them."

Ravenel says: "One of the first shoes I wore as a kid. Every kid was a fan of Iverson and it was a shoe that I wore while playing at Boston College."

Ravenel says: "Comfortable shoe and it's Jordan where can you go wrong with that?"

Ravenel says: "Love the design, love the way it looks, love how they feel on my feet. I play in this shoe now and they are great! Again it's Jordan, how can you go wrong."
3. Nike LeBron X
Ravenel says: "This is a great basketball shoe to me at least. Comfortable and light weight. I played the majority of the season in this shoe and some of my best basketball in this shoe this past season."

Ravenel says: "My favorite Jordan of all time 'cause it's simple shoe. If you haven't learned by now I love simple and classic shoes that you can pretty much wear with anything. The lows and the highs, if there is a pair of I's out I want them."
