During the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend hosted by Charlotte, the Jordan Brand Wings Scholars program continued to show its support to those who give back to their communities and embody "Wings" values by creating a special version of the Air Jordan 4, first gifted to James Whitner—the founder of sneaker boutique Social Status.

The pair features a black premium tumbled leather upper paired with royal blue hits on the wings, Jumpman branding on the tongue and sock liner. An eye-catching blue and yellow paint splatter cover the heel tab and midsole, which is capped off with a blue and black outsole.

The "Wings" Air Jordan 4 will not be released, but rather gifted to honor those giving back to their communities. Since the Wings Scholar program launched back in 2015, the foundation has assisted over 200 students by providing students full rides into 65 different colleges.
