Initially thought to be a colorway inspired by the newly LeBron-sponsored University of Miami Hurricanes, this "Cannon" make-up of the LeBron 9 is actually a salute to nearby Eglin Air Force Base, the site of the Miami Heat's 2010 Training Camp. The unique green hue is accented by black synthetic and textile panels, while volt takes care of Swoosh branding, LeBron's signature on the tongue, the lace tips and heel pull-tab. Sitting below a black and green speckled midsole is an orange Max Air bag and durable rubber outsole.
