Here's a look at what figures to be Derrick Rose's signature shoe for the second half of next season, tentatively being called the adiZero Rose 2.5. Featuring a build similar to that of the adiZero Rose 2.0, the 2.5 loses the support straps, maintains SPRINTWEB and SPRINTFRAME technology, adds laser print detailing along the collar and toebox and brings back the "peak" on the vamp symbolic of Chicago architecture.
Another fascinating thing worth noting about this shoe is that it features the miCoach logo on the outsole, perhaps an indication that they'll be compatiable with adidas' fitness activity tracking system.
An interesting lineup of colorways are planned for the reigning League MVP, including multiple Chicago looks, a pair in orange, a blue-based pair that most likely salutes his time at Simeon Career Academy and a green "St. Patrick's Day" release. We're still quite a bit away from knowing any release details about the Rose 2.5, but check out more photos of the new model below and stick with Sole Collector for updates.
