We decided to ask 10 women who are pretty educated in sneakers and style alike to school us on our mistakes. Pink. Yes, it's a female color. Yes, I get you feel cool with your pink kicks, like you're showing that you can rock anything you want. But then pink head to toe? You look like a walking Pepto Bismol, fool.

General consensus is stop the Versace on Versace, stop the luxury brand upon luxury brand with your kicks, and stop the camo on camo. Good lawd please don't do different styles of camo together, I've seen people wearing different patterns of camo at the same damn time...please stop it!

TIE YOUR SHOES. I hate when guys wear their shoes all loose and they practically look like slippers the way they flop off your feet. Come on, that's back to basics, you learned how to tie your shoes when you were four, you need another lesson or something? There's Youtube tutorials for everything these days!

Dirty kicks. Chucks and the Vans Classic Slip-On look better with some grime, but there's no excuse for rocking any other dingy kicks. We get it, you have OGs and rare finds, but there's nothing fresh about dirty kicks, B. Jason Markk it already. And when they are leaning and falling apart, retire them. Otherwise, you are out here looking like Bobby Brown trying to hold onto that King of R&B title.

Thanks to Instagram sneaker selfies, the thirst of the perfect pants to pair with kicks is at an all-time high. Anything more than a double cuff on denim or chinos looks bulky and distracting. Find a tailor to hem them. You can ask your tailor to use a contrast color or pattern to line the cuff too, but make sure it doesn't match your kicks! Finally, be careful with the trend of elastic cuff sweats and khakis. Depending on the silhouette and the size of thighs and calves, you might end up looking like an ice cream cone in kicks. Not cute.
