Nike is combining two of their latest innovations to build an instant classic in the form of the Nike Air Max 270 React.

The release of the Air Max 270 ushered in a new era at The Swoosh, delivered as the brand's first lifestyle Air unit. Running parallel to the strength of this lifestyle offering was the release of the instant-hit resilient foam, the React. As we head into Summer, Nike is combining the best of both worlds to build the Air Max 270 React. Built to stand as the next chapter in the Air Max lineage, this hybrid model showcases a seamless transition from one technological innovation into the next. The build sees in the 270 Air unit offer cushioning to the heel, while the forefoot receives the resilience and heightened comfort of React tooling. Not only does the bottom part of the shoe boasts a unique style, but upper comes with a layered aesthetic akin to the Element React 87, that allows for some of Nike's strongest colourways yet.

Each colourway releasing as part of the initial release of the silhouette looks to art and design history, each tracking a specific style or movement through the palettes used within the colour blocking. Taking centre stage and leading the pack is a colouring that looks to the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus's founding, achieving a distinctly retro feel.

The Nike Air Max 270 React is set for a global release on July 3rd.
