After getting a detailed look at the "Black" Nike Air Fear of God 1 yesterday, there is now an official look at the black colorway of Jerry Lorenzo's second original silhouette with the Swoosh, the Air Fear of God SA (Shoot Around).
While the Fear of God designer's other sneaker is built with performance on the basketball court in mind, this pair is intended for the pre-game and post-game festivities. The same overall shape is used on the Air Fear of God SA, but it features a handful of notable design tweaks that differentiate it from its on-court counterpart.
This pair is constructed of a black mesh upper with a zipper up the heel. The TPU cage from the Air Fear of God 1 has been eliminated entirely in favor of a glossy Swoosh placed on the side panel. The lacing toggle lacing system has also been re-tooled to feature only one eyelet with the thick rope laces intended to be wrapped around the ankle. An ankle strap inspired by the Air Force 1 High has also been added. A midsole with a double-stacked Zoom Air unit in the heel is another element shared between both pairs in Lorenzo's collection.
The "Black" Nike Air Fear of God SA will be available via Nike SNKRS and other select retailers on Saturday, Dec. 15 for $300.
