Unveiled at the top of the year, the Air Jordan 1 High Zip provides female sneakerheads with a drastic yet sensible update, ditching shoelaces for a zipper closure. For the fall season, Jordan Brand has more zip-equipped 1s on the way, and this time around, guys will be able to get in on the action, too.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zip is set to release in the coming months in white/sail/red and black/sail/royal colorways. Like the women's versions, these styles feature zippers across the tongue and pull tabs on the heel, but the men's version also adds a perforated Swoosh to further the premium feel.
Along with the Zip models, men will also receive another laceless Jordan 1 High equipped with two Velcro straps. Reminiscent of Nike's The 1 Reimagined range, this variation of the sneaker features a rubberized treatment above the midsole which results in a sleeker upper profile. Confirmed colorways include triple-white and black/sail.
Featured as part of Jordan Brand's just-announced Fall '18 collection—but not included in the official press release—both of these Air Jordan 1 models are expected to drop later this year.
