Kevin Durant officially debuted the Nike KD 8 Elite during last night's Thunder versus Spurs' game in San Antonio.

In its debut, Durant had a solid performance as he netted 28 points to lead OKC, but the Thunder still fell to the hometown Spurs, 93-85. A few days prior, many of us got our first glimpse of the KD 8 Elite on foot when Durant wore a "Creamsicle" colorway during a recent Thunder shootaround. The assumption was that Durant was going to debut his new silhouette during the Thunder's playoff run so it came as a bit of a surprise to see KD lace them up in San Antonio. Maybe it was a test run to see if it could handle NBA action. Whatever the case, fans will be quite interested to see what other colorways Nike and KD have in store for the Elites.

Fans looking to get their hands on Durant's latest signature model will have to wait until April 14 when the shoe officially hits Nike and select retailers.
