It's the Friday before Halloween and Nike is releasing a pair of sneakers very fitting for the ghoulish holiday.
The Nike Dunk has been used as the canvas for many themed sneakers over the years and this latest release will arguably be one of the more memorable ones you'll ever see. The "Black/Team Red" colorway is nothing crazy. But the inspiration is and many might even find it a bit disturbing. Decked out in a smooth leather upper accented with a shiny patent leather Swoosh and contrasting quilted back heel and inner lining, Nike has created coffins for your feet. Yes. Coffins and caskets is what inspired these Dunks and the coffin shaped deubres confirm the connection.
According to Sole Collector, the "Coffin" Dunks have an official release date of Thursday, November 5 and will carry a toe price tag of $120. Check your local Nike retailers for availibility or head over to Rock City Kicks to secure your pair. In the meantime, you might want to check out some previously released Halloween inspired kicks.
