Last week, we broke down the concept behind Kith's upcoming West Coast Project in Los Angeles, but now it's time to focus on what really matters—the sneakers themselves.

The centerpiece of Kith's 'West Coast Project' is the return of the ASICS Gel Sight model. The Gel Sight was originally released in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympics and has remained buried deep in the ASICS archives ever since. Now, Ronnie Fieg and Kith are bringing it back as part of the dual 'West Coast Project' pack.

First up in the collection is the New York inspired sneaker. Based around the dark, gritty feel of NYC's streets, this navy-based Gel Sight is composed of a pigskin suede upper. Accents are provided by lighter shades of blue on the overlays and heel TPU stabilizer, while a speckled white midsole completes the package.

The second Gel Sight in the West Coast Project mimics the vibes of L.A.'s serene sandy beaches and crystal blue ocean. The upper includes a mix of navy glove leather and pinched nubuck, while the heel is done up in light blue. As always, Ronnie has taken every detail into consideration, including the addition of woven 3M laces.

Look out for the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Sight "West Coast Project" pack to hit Kith's LA pop-up at 1638 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, CA. on February 20. In the meantime, check out this dope interactive presentation put together by Kith for the launch.
