For someone who is only 23-years-old, Kawhi Leonard holds a pretty impressive NBA resume. So Far, Leonard is a NBA Final MVP, NBA All-Defensive Second Team member and NBA All-Rookie First Team recipient. Now, you can add PE designer to that list.

Leonard said that it was he who initially thought of the Jordan Brand's "Claw" logo that currently graces his Air Jordan 6 PEs. According to Leonard, he came up with the idea to incorporate his initials into the logo and drew up a rough draft which he sent to Jordan Brand. After the folks at the Jumpman tinkered with the design a bit, "The Claw" logo was officially born. Leonard earned the nickname of "The Claw" from his San Antonio teammates because of his unusually a large hands and the jaw-dropping plays he is able to make with them. Although he said it was his idea, Leonard is giving the people at Jordan all the credit for crafting a dope PE logo.

“I give the Jordan Brand team all the credit because I’m no artist at all,” Leonard. “They refined it and made it look better than I thought it would ever be, and I’m extremely happy with the final version.”

"At the end of the day, we all know what the Jordan logo means and you can’t take anything away from that,” Leonard added. “But it’s pretty cool to have my own logo on a Jordan shoe."
