Miles Teller wants to set the record straight

The actor—who was previously reported to have refused getting the COVID-19 vaccine, despite his rep saying “facts are incorrect”—wrote on Twitter that he is, in fact, vaccinated.

“Hey guys, I don’t usually feel the need to address rumors on here but I am vaccinated and have been for a while,” he wrote on Monday. “The only thing I’m anti is hate.”

Teller’s revelation comes after added speculation around his vaccination status thanks to his appearance in Taylor Swift’s latest music video for Red (Taylor’s Version) cut “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version).”

Teller’s appearance in the Swift video got plenty of fan attention, with many pointing to older headlines and reports about the actor’s vaccination status. But of course, others pointed out the credits to the video—which was directed by Blake Lively—where Swift thanks the production’s “COVID safety team.” So, it made plenty of sense for the War Dogs actor to address speculation as his name was trending alongside the video.

Back in September, however, the Daily Mail reported that the actor had refused the vaccine on the set of The Offer, a TV series about the making of The Godfather. The production paused in July after someone tested positive on set. The Hollywood Reporter later shared that the person was “publicly identified as a series star who was said to be unvaccinated”

“He wouldn’t even get the test,” a source told the outlet. “Now he’s brought the virus to set and the whole set had to shut down.”

That was when Teller’s rep claimed that “facts were incorrect,” which Teller echoed with his tweet.

Earlier this month, actor Emilio Estevez also said he wasn’t anti-vaxx following a report that he left The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers because he refused to get vaccinated. While Teller wrote that he’s “anti-hate,” Estevez said he’s “anti-bully.”
