Ahead of a rollout of long-awaited new episodes, the college-set thriller series In the Vault has arrived on Crackle.

Starting Wednesday (June 1), Season 1 of the series will be available for free on Crackle TV and the official Crackle app. Tucked into announcements is word that a second season will be arriving this summer.

The series focuses on the suspicions of a group of college students who each think the other is responsible for a suspected murder that occurred at a party. Carrying this narrative into the show’s format, each episode provides viewers with a deep-dive on a specific character, who may or may not be involved with the killing.

As a refresher, here’s the show’s official synopsis:

“One month into freshman year at college, a student is killed at a party. In the Vault focuses on the victim’s surviving dorm hallmates as they come to suspect one another of being the killer. Each student has secrets that may or may not serve as a motive, and none are safe from the others’ suspicions. Each episode spotlights a different hallmate as a character is a protagonist one week and a suspect the next.”

In the Vault was among the slate of new originals, films, and exclusives Crackle announced back in April as being part of its larger 2022 streaming strategy. Other exclusives also announced at the time included Senior Moment with William Shatner, the 2014 Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore comedy Blended, and more.
