New Kids on the Block had a bunch of hits. And now one of those kids, Donnie Wahlberg, also has a goddamn Guinness World Record. To arrive at that distinction, Wahlberg had to snap 122 selfies in three minutes while aboard the annual New Kids on the Block cruise, an event I somehow missed.
Wahlberg previously estimated he had managed to craft roughly 1600 selfies with some screaming New Kids fans, though that was presumably done beyond the apparent three-minute requirement to clinch the title:
This year's incarnation of the NKOTB cruise was apparently a particularly exhausting endeavor, as Wahlberg later had to catch a post-world record nap while filming Blue Bloods:
This cruise, in addition to sounding increasingly like a very good way to spend one's money, is also the subject of the reality show Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block. The series, which airs on Pop, has already blessed this planet with two seasons. Who's down to sign up for this shit next year?
