Post Malone is getting into the multi-hyphenate business.

For his first acting stint, Varietyreports that Malone has been tapped to join Mark Wahlberg (Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch) and Winston Duke (Black Panther) in Peter Berg's adaptation of Robert B. Parker's Wonderland. Based on the Ace Atkins-penned entry in the Spenser series, the murder-y drama has also enlisted the acting services of Alan Arkin, Iliza Schlesinger, James DuMont, and Bookem Woodbine. The nature of Malone's role is unclear.

As previously reported, Wonderland sees Wahlberg in the lead while Duke will play Spenser's "close friend" Hawk. The Netflix film will notably carry Original Film and Film 44 production banners. Production, according to earlier casting reports, is slated to begin before year's end.

"I mean if it's successful [we would make sequels]," Berg previously toldCollider of plans to keep the Spenser character rolling along for Netflix. "I think there's 150 books with this character. So if it's successful and it's something that we do one every three years or two years—I don't know what the number would be—and it's something that we all like, that we feel is creatively satisfying and doesn't feel like a slog, I think we would definitely do it. Mark and I are brothers and we love working together."

Malone released his wildly successful Beerbongs & Bentleys album back in April. This month, he'll launch his inaugural Posty Fest at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas featuring Tyler, the Creator and more.
