Rejoice: Deadline is reporting that Julianne Moore has officially accepted the role of crazy psycho religious fanatic mom Margaret White in in Kimberly Peirce's remake of the Stephen King classic, Carrie. She'll star alongside actress Chloë Moretz, who is confirmed to portray the titular character made famous by Sissy Spacek in 1976.
This remake is looking more and more promising by the minute.
