Geeks have been building amazing things out of LEGOs for decades, but this motorized prosthetic arm has to be some sort of high water mark. A marvel of both form and function, the project of Max Shephard has functioning joints in the elbow and each of the fingers and can be controlled via remote control.

In the video above, the hand grasps objects and pours a glass of water— a far cry from the little LEGO storm troopers we played with as a kid.
