Netflix kicked off this year’s round of April Fool’s Day jokes by partnering with Seth Rogen for a fictitious deal to sell his soul, if such a deal were legally binding. The streaming giant released video showing the comedian going over the fake terms of the deal.

“I, Seth Rogen, do hereby relinquish ownership of mind and body to the entity known as “Netflix Inc.” (Hereby referred to as “Seth’s Owners”),” Rogen said, in a recorded clip to promote the announcement. Terms included “the ability to frame you for murder and the rights to film a docuseries about that murder and biopic starring John Goodman.”

In reality, Rogen and Netflix are drumming up some promotion for Rogen’s upcoming Hilarity for Charity project. Rogen’s sixth annual comedy special is scheduled to premiere on Netfilx April 6. James Corden, Tiffany Haddish, Kumail Nanjiani, Sarah Silverman, Post Malone, and Craig Robinson are all slated to make appearances.

“We started the Los Angeles variety show six years ago in order to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s, a disease that has touched so many families including my own,” HFC co-founder Lauren Miller Rogen told Erik Pedersen in a Deadline report. “Our goal is to educate a younger audience and ultimately create the next generation of advocates for the cause. I am so thrilled to be able to share this year’s show with an even larger audience through our partnership with Netflix and are proud to have them as a partner.”
