Sean Bean hasn't been on Game of Thrones since (super delayed spoiler alert) the first season, but Ned Stark's specter still looms large over Westeros. Bean said last year that he should return to the HBO show to clear up Jon Snow's parentage, and he's still insisting that Snow is not the Stark bastard.

"He’s not my child. He isn’t. That's what I suspected all along," Bean said this week. "[He is] probably a bit psychologically confused, I would imagine! I think that’s probably an interesting journey for Jon Snow as a character and for [Kit Harington] as the actor. He’s been very fortunate in being one of the characters that had a very meaty, substantial, very complex story to be able to discover for himself. He’s been lucky to survive!"

Well, good point. And for the record, even Harington doesn't know who his real parents are. "I’ve never even asked George [R.R. Martin] who Jon’s mother is," he has said. "But I’ve tried to trick [showrunners] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] into telling me."
