Lifetime is obviously doing a Whitney Houston biopic, and it has finally cast its star. Yaya DaCosta will star as the legendary singer for the TV movie. Yep, that Yaya—from America's Next Top Model, Cycle Three, to be exact. Don't doubt her skills, though. She was recently in Lee Daniels' The Butler.
The biopic will reportedly follow Houston's rise to fame and of course, her tumultuous relationship with Bobby Brown. The movie doesn't have a title yet, but Angela Bassett is directing. It's slated to debut in 2015.
