There were rumors abound this week that the grand jury in St. Louis would announce a decision on whether or not to indict Darren Wilson sometime this weekend. CNN and other news outlets have confirmed that although the grand jury did meet Friday, no decision was made. It will reconvene again on Monday.
Local schools in the Ferguson and nearby Florissant area had already called off school for the beginning of the week, prompting many to believe an announcement was imminent. Despite any news, there have been renewed protests in Ferguson over the weekend—three people were arrested last night—and many businesses have already boarded up in anticipation of violence.
