On the low, HBO's Veep is the funniest show on television. Co-created by political satirist Armando Iannucci (The Thick of It, In the Loop), Veep brings viewers into a fictionalized version of Washington, D.C., where Vice President Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) constantly fails at life, gets angry about everything, and epically insults her staff, all of whom also enjoy dissing the hell out of one another. There's hardly a single throwaway line of dialogue in any given episode—anytime a character says something, chances are it's a scathing, hilarious shot fired. Usually laden with profanity.

Every character on Veep gets his or her own time to shine via a vicious one-liner or two, but when it comes to consistent scene-stealing, there's one guy who viewers can count on to always bring the funny, whether at his own expense or not: Jonah Ryan, the White House liaison played perfectly by Timothy Simons. In Jonah's delusional mind, he's the coolest guy around, thanks to his cushy job working directly for the President of the United States, but no one, especially not anyone working for Selina Meyer, gives a damn about his position—they all think he's a major tool. That doesn't stop him, however, from uncomfortably flirting with women, interrupting important meetings, and annoying Selina and her colleagues.

Veep's excellent second season wrapped earlier this week, and we're going through withdrawal. We have to wait an entire year to hear more Jonah-isms like, "I give great talking head." In the meantime, enjoy this collection of Veep's best Jonah Ryan GIFs.
