Here's What It Was Like in the Control Room During 'Grease Live!'

Aaron Tveit’s thrusting hips and Vanessa Hudgens’ courageous performance after her father died the night before weren’t the only great things to come out of Grease Live!. Viewers also noticed the high production value which saw elaborate scene changes and sweeping camera movements. While the production crew made it look easy, a video inside the control room tells a different story.

Associate Director Carrie Havel uploaded the clip which shows her counting the beats and cueing different cameras. "Every shot in the show was designed and scripted by our director Alex Rudzinski. My job was to execute that plan," she wrote.
