Chicago native Shermain Miles promised arrest number 396 would be her last. A month after being released from jail for attacking Alderman James Cappleman in 2012, the 52-year-old miles is now just three arrests away from number 400.

Miles was arrested on Dec. 18 for allegedly stealing a 63-year-old man's keys. She was found a short time later drinking and fighting with a male friend, then arrested and charged with theft, battery and drinking in public.

Following her release last month, Miles promised to stay away from places and people who could lead her astray once again. "I can love (my friends) from a distance," he told the Chicago Sun-Times, adding "Anybody that’s drugging, I can’t be around."

Let's hope she can stay on the straight and narrow this time.
