Colorado's legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes opened the door for a ton of money to be made, as well as people firing off ridiculous theories about its outcomes or potential dangers. Enter Pat Buchanan, right on schedule.
During a segment from Saturday's edition of The McLaughlin Group, Buchanan told host John McLaughlin that the end of "pot prohibition" would usher in "more potheads, and more high school dropouts and more automobile accidents involving marijuana."
He also views legalization as an open invitation for Mexican drug cartels to enter the business, a sentiment that drew the best smug "FOH" face ever from Washington Monthly Editor in Chief Paul Glastris:
