The fall is here and, with it, the arrival of strange new television shows with promising casts. In other words, they're loaded with sexy chicks worth tuning in for. However, time will tell whether these shows survive their first run or die an early death—see recent attempts Charlie's Angels and The Playboy Club, which couldn't be saved by hotness alone. Here are the 10 hottest actresses who will be doing their damndest to keep these series on the air.

Where You've Seen Her: The Good Wife (9 episodes), Lie To Me (48 episodes)
Sexy paramedic Gabriela Dawson is on the scene in a drama about firefighters in the Windy City. Burn your house down and you just might score some CPR from her —surely this will be the plot line of an episode or two.

The indestructible cheerleader from Heroes is back on the small screen as a sexy teenage country-pop star named Juliette Barnes making life difficult for an aging country star played by Connie Britton. It's a new era in country music, one in which cleavage counts for more than talent, and we're OK with that.

Series: American Horror Story: Asylum

Where You've Seen Her: Step Up (2006), The Playboy Club (7 episodes)
It's the second season of AHS, but it's essentially a new show since the setting and story arc are completely revamped, as are most of the characters. The new season takes place in an asylum for the criminally insane, where things tend to get a bit scary.
In the series, Jenna plays Teresa, Adam Levine's criminally hot lover. We're speculating here, but we think that his constantly playing Maroon 5 records might be what drives her character over the edge.

Series: Revolution
Premiere Date: September 17 on NBC
Where You've Seen Her: My Generation (8 episodes), Friday Night Lights (10 episodes)
The series is about a future in which civilization has lost electricity and all the wonderful things it powers, from iPads to blow dryers, are useless. As rebel fighter Nora, Daniella will battle her way through episodes using medieval weaponry and disarming good looks.

Where You've Seen Her: Being Human (7 episodes), Dollhouse (27 episodes)
The series is about a rogue submarine crew who, after refusing to fire their missiles on Pakistan, end up declaring themselves a sovereign nation on a small island. And of course there are already people living on the island—tribal people—and the tribal elder has a pretty and exotic daughter (played by Dichen), and the pretty and exotic daughter, named Tani, owns a bar. Some rogue submarine crews have all the luck.

Premiere Date: September 24 on CBS
Where You've Seen Her: One Tree Hill (187 episodes)
Two male architects form a partnership; one is gay, and has a life partner, while the other is straight and gets engaged to Sophia. Will the gay one be jealous of Sophia, or will he just be happy to have his own boyfriend? Will Sophia be jealous of her fiance's partnership with the gay guy? Will Sophia and her fiance's gay partner's partner have a lesbian affair? Will any of this make sense?
However the sitcom plays out, hilarity will ensue (and hopefully not in the laughable-plot-line way that happened to the last few seasons of One Tree Hill).

Series: Last Resort
Premiere Date: September 27 on ABC
Where You've Seen Her: Dexter (2 episodes), Think Like a Man (2012)
You probably don't know Jessica at all, but if Last Resort catches on you'll learn to love her. She plays Seaman Pilar Cortez, a member of the submarine crew stuck on a small island. If you're going to be stuck on a small island with seamen, it's best if they're not actually men but women who look like this.
Rachael Taylor
Series: 666 Park Avenue
Premiere Date: September 30 on ABC
Where You've Seen Her: Transformers (2007), Charlie's Angels (8 episodes)
Being picked as one of the three heroines of the Charlie's Angels remake was confirmation that Rachael is super hot, which we knew, so it's a pity the series was canceled almost immediately. Luckily, she's got a more promising ABC series lined up.
On 666 Park Avenue, she's hired to manage an apartment building that is really some kind of demonic paradise where dreams seem to come true, but at a price. What if your dream is to get sexy with the manager of the apartment building? That would seem like a win-win.
Janet Montgomery
Series: Made in Jersey
Premiere Date: September 28 on CBS
Where You've Seen Her: Entourage (10 episodes), Human Target (11 episodes)
Janet plays Martina Garretti, a young lawyer in New York City who lacks the Ivy League pedigree of her colleagues but manages to kick ass with her blue-collar street smarts and Jersey moxie. It also helps when you're so sexy that male jurors agree with your closing arguments before you even give them.
