Deadline reports a Superman & Lois TV series starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch is in the works at The CW. Hoechlin and Tulloch will be reprising their roles as Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, respectively, which they have previously done on other series from The CW’s DC Universe, such as Supergirl, and The Flash. Tulloch made her debut as Lane on the 2018 Arrowverse crossover event "Elseworlds."

When Tulloch spoke with TVLine prior to "Elseworlds," she suspected that a standalone pilot could "potentially" happen, but it depended on the response to their first appearance together. "I think it’ll depend on how [the crossover] is reviewed and a bunch of other external factors that nobody has really that much control over," she said. "I know Tyler and I would love to come back and work more together. We fortunately had great chemistry, which is not always a given."

Deadline describes Superman & Lois as being developed as a standalone pilot, but "will not be introduced as a planted spinoff."

Stay tuned as more details about Superman & Lois are revealed.
