Jamie Forrest and Michael McWatters have an interesting mission: To collect the final tweets of notable people who died on their site, The Tweet Hereafter

Recently, they've posted entries from Internet activist Aaron Swartz, Kevin Ash and Caleb Moore, though they've been at it for over a year.

You can follow the project on Twitter @tweetafter. It's just like a Tumblr, except with a morbid bent that's becoming increasingly common as we face our mortality not just in reality but on the web.

There is Facebook's memoriam feature for turning deceased users' profiles into memorial pages, and DeadSocial for sharing messages beyond the grave on Google+, Facebook and Twitter. With so many ways to communicate, it might not be long before we start Vining our funerals, too.
