Remember when the remaining space shuttles in NASA's program were being retired to museums around the country? Well, Google Street View just happened to capture an awesome image of one of these shuttles cruising atop a jet over Interstate 95 in New Jersey back in April 2012.
A Street View user recently spotted the image, which Google tweeted from their Google Maps account. This is just another friendly reminder that when using Street View—between people having sex, lost babies outside of a Gucci stores, and naked people in car trunks—you'll probably have a better time when you take your eyes off the road.
Here's the image, and click here to see the entire scene in Street View.
You never know what you might see when looking up on #streetview. E.g. a Space Shuttle http://t.co/BnqQUeTDxU @NASA pic.twitter.com/hSKt1MUewd
