The way to the fountain of youth may be bloodier than you thought.

Scientists at the University of California, Harvard, and Cambridge, discovered that when they placed the blood of young mice in the bodies of older mice, the elder mice grew more brain blood vessels, were able to think clearer, and run much faster. Harvard scientists isolated one protein, GDF11, which caused the improved performance of the brain and heart. Don't get too excited though, there's still a lot more tests to be done when it comes to seeing how this finding can affect humans, but young blood might be worth more than gold by the time you start getting those wrinkles around your eyes.
