The I'm Throwing the Most Epic Party And You Need to Be There Comment
Let's face it, if you need to advertise your party on a random person's Facebook wall, it's probably not going to be that epic. Best case scenario, you'll play three rounds of beer pong, scream that you're drunk, and take a nice long nap. Chances are you also probably have no idea who this person is because they fall into the "I've never met you in my life, but you're my Facebook friend" category.
The Once A Year, We're Not Really Friends Birthday Comment
You must give credit where credit is due. This person probably has no idea who you are, yet still feels obligated to write you a comment on your birthday. True, it may be the most generic "happy birthday" you've ever seen. But hey, if it's your birthday, even a crappy comment is a nice gesture.
The Comment That Should've Probably Been A Text
The most annoying comments are the comments that turn into the longest thread in Internet history. The mobile phone was created for a reason-to save you from making a fool of yourself on a public forum. Next time you have a lot to say to a friend, do everyone a favor and do it over text.
The Inside Joke Comment That Nobody Else Understands
There's always that friend that feels the need to publicly announce how funny an inside joke is. We get it you're the best friend and, to each other, you're an absolute riot. To everyone else, not so much.
The Hypothetical Plans Comment
This comes from the person you rarely ever see, but actually like as a person. They write on your wall about how long it's been since you've hung out. You guys make plans that never happen. Long story short, there's a good chance you'll never see that person again.
The Stalker Comment
The person who knows exactly where you are, at the precise time, and feels the need to share that on your Facebook wall. Or, it's that one friend that everyone has who writes that they saw you as they were driving by somewhere. If you want to know where people are, go get FourSquare
The Friend Who Put You on Blast Comment
We all have that friend that has absolutely no filter. Whether in person or on Facebook, this person always knows how to make you turn a shade of red you never even thought existed. If this every happens to you, just remember, Facebook comments work both ways.
The "Mom, Why Did You Write That?" Comment
We can all agree that parents and social networking do not mix. For whatever reason, they think it's okay to be as blunt as possible when writing something on your wall.
The Thirsty Comment
There are some levels of ratchetness that can only be reached by leaving a thirsty comment on a person's Facebook wall. These include, but are not limited to: "you're hot," "omg, can you please text me," "hey, are you there, I'd love to go out with you." No, hell no. If this should happen to you, there's a permanent solution. Hit the unfriend button.
The Hater Comment
An unfortunate fact of life is that haters are everywhere. No matter how well you're doing, there will always be someone who has something to say. On the bright side, you have the peace of mind of knowing that the only reason they are hating is because you're doing better than them. Next time a hater writes something on your Facebook wall, just remember, it means you're doing something right.
