Christopher Walken Joins Cast of the Live Action "The Jungle Book"

Christopher Walken will be lending his voice to King Louie in live action "The Jungle Book."

Welcome to the jungle, Christopher Walken!

Walken is the latest star to join the spectacular cast of Jon Favreau’s live action version of Disney's The Jungle Book. The cast currently includes Scarlett Johansson, Lupita Nyong’o, Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, and 10-year-old Neel Sethi, who will make his big screen debut as "Mowgli."

For the film, Walken will voice King Louie, leader of the monkeys and apes.


Also just added to the cast is Giancarlo Esposito, who played “Gus” on Breaking Bad. He will be voicing wolf leader Akela.

The Jungle Book will be released Oct. 9, 2015.
