Caitlyn Jenner is telling her story her way with the upcoming E! docuseries I Am Cait. Jenner, who had previously said in a trailer, “this is about getting to be who you really are,” is seen passing on that message to transgender kids in a new promo for the series.
She advises the group of kids to surround themselves with people who love them and respect them, and after giving them a group hug, yells, "We're all beautiful!"
In the new clip we see some of the loving and respectful people in Caitlyn’s own life, like her mom, whose initial reaction to Caitlyn was, “My first feeling was, 'I lost my son.’” But then she reconsidered, “Then I thought, 'You know what? I'm gaining.'"
Hoping to inspire people by sharing your truth is one thing, actually going out there and encouraging people and helping people be their true selves is another, and for that we applaud Caitlyn.
