Fans had a field day when PlayStation announced that the pre-order is open for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition.
The company tweeted on Monday, “Treat yourself to 19 inches of Venom and more with the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Collector's Edition,” alongside the pre-order link.
The collector's edition includes a 19 inch statue of Venom, as well as the PS5 game, a display case, and additional game bonuses.
But fans wouldn’t let the “19 inches” comment go.

Sony has announced a massive overhaul of its PlayStation Plus service, which will absorb PS Now and offer a three-tier subscription program.
On the website, PlayStation shared a description of the game: “Swing, jump, and utilize the new Web Wings to travel across Marvel’s New York, quickly switching between Peter Parker and Miles Morales to experience different stories and epic new powers, as the iconic villain Venom threatens to destroy their lives, their city and the ones they love.”
In May, Sony teased the upcoming arrival of a handheld streaming device, referred to as Project Q. The device will allow users to stream previously installed PlayStation 5 games via WiFi.
