Ben Kingsley is mad with power, Michael Caine is locked in the nuthouse and Kate Beckinsale is crazy, crazy hot, and probably both in this first trailer for Stonehearst Asylum.
The thriller is based on an Edgar Allen Poe short story and stars Jim Sturgess as a doctor fresh out of med school who gets a job at a mental asylum and starts to catch feelings for one of the patients (Beckinsale). Then he realizes there's been some kind of horrifying staff change.
The movie, which definitely feels a little Shutter Island-ish, comes out Oct. 24.
