Obama Thanks Paris Train Heroes for 'Making America Look so Good'

President Barack Obama brought the three Americans who thwarted a terrorist attack in Paris to the White House to thank them personally.

Three guys who have been best bros since middle school found themselves in the office of the most powerful man in the world today, just for doing what they do on a trip together across Europe.

Spencer Stone, 23, Alek Skarlatos, 22, and Anthony Sadler, 23, the Americans who tackled a gunman on a Paris train last month to prevent what could have been a mass murder, were personally thanked by President Barack Obama at the White House.

"Whatever they may do, they're going to do it well and we just wanted to say thank you to them not only for saving so many lives but also for making America look so good," Obama said.

Obama also noted that Skarlatos is currently competing on Dancing With the Stars, and honestly, just go ahead and give that dude the trophy now.

The three men had gone their own paths in life – Skarlatos is a National Guardsman in Oregon, Stone is in the Air Force and stationed near Portugal and Sadler is a college student in California – but were back together for an epic trip through Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Spain.

Stone suffered a severe cut to his hand where the gunman slashed him with a knife, but appears to have made a full recovery.
