When you’re in college, a cozy, functional living space is crucial for studying and taking care of yourself. But sometimes it’s hard to get great design at a good price. Good thing Complex’s Space Lift is here to help. This new Complex series links college students with host Nadeska to help undergrads select gear that'll keep their on-campus rooms looking right without breaking the bank. But with a global pandemic creating challenges for colleges across the country, most students haven't been able to move into their on-campus lodging yet. So to help in the meantime, Complex teamed up with Target to send furniture and accessories to college students while they're still posted up at their parents' houses, advising them on how they might set things up once things settle down. For the first episode, Complex worked with photography-loving student Ana to pick out stuff that will hopefully one day adorn the Cornell freshman's college dorm. Read on to see some of Ana’s favorite Target pieces and come back later to check out the first episode of Complex’s Space Lift, where you can hear her talk about her love of acting and using photography to highlight the stories of undocumented immigrants in the Bronx neighborhood where she grew up.
