Tiffany Pollard has always been one of reality TV’s most outspoken figures, but her latest reflections go deeper than the drama.

The House of Villains star, who built her reputation on unforgettable moments as “New York” on Flavor of Love, recently opened up about how she relates to gender identity—and specifically, why she feels aligned with the non-binary community.

In a new interview with PinkNews ahead of her upcoming show Slayers: Wheel of Fate, Pollard explained that her sense of self often shifts between masculine and feminine energies.

“I really do resonate with non-binary because I feel like we are so dual without even recognizing it,” she said. “Because it takes two sexes for us to get here, so some days I may feel a lot more masculine and sometimes I’m super feminine, and that’s OK.”

This isn’t the first time Pollard has spoken openly about identity and sexuality. Back in 2023, she told fans that she identifies as queer and later elaborated on The Jason Lee Show that she has “lived a very, very broad life” when it comes to her experiences.

That candidness carried into her latest comments, where she described her first kiss with another girl during junior high. “The first time I ever really kissed a girl, I think it was in junior high, and I knew it was fine. It felt good, it felt right. It had to happen at some point,” she recalled.

Now 43, Pollard made it clear that embracing those parts of herself has been freeing. “You gonna come out of that closet and once you do it’s like, ‘OK, wow, this world is open to me in new ways and sweetie, shoving me back in the closet is never going to be an option.’”

Her latest project, Slayers: Wheel of Fate, will be on OUTflix with Pollard serving as both host and executive producer.

The series brings together ten queer gamers for a chance to win $25,000, set against a backdrop of a mysterious castle, a villain named Queen Karen, and even a dragon that “devours” contestants as they’re eliminated.
