Following a report that Joe Exotic's legal team would be ramping up its massive campaign to secure a presidential pardon for the Tiger King subject and meme-inspirer, a reliably bizarre video has been released in which the team pleads directly to Trump regarding what they feel is "a failure of justice."

"They say everything is bigger in Texas," Eric Love, a former cop turned private investigator who's been hired to handle "all business and legal matters" for Mr. Exotic, says in the TMZ-published video's opening moments. "This old adage has never rang more true than in the case of the Tiger King's legal team."

Later in the clip, Love makes a public plea for Trump—himself a product of reality television—to intervene.

"This will be a case of redemption," Love says. "Justice must be served. President Trump, we are asking you today: please free Joe Exotic."

The video also features helicopters, tigers, eagles, random Joe footage, a campaign-emblazoned bus, and comments from lead counsel Francisco Hernandez, who says "this unit" aims to "prove that the Tiger King is not only not guilty; rather, he is the victim."

Until the next update on the status of the legal team's quest for a presidential pardon, wash the bad taste likely left in your mouth from that recent special add-on episode of Tiger King hosted by Joel McHale with your near-daily reminder that Nicolas Cage has been formally enlisted to portray Joe Exotic in an eight-episode scripted series from Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios.
